South Lido Park (Ted Sperling Park) sits at the southern tip of the key where the Gulf, Big Sarasota Pass, and Sarasota Bay all meet — 100 acres of nature trails, a canoe/kayak trail through the mangroves, picnic shelters, and an observation tower. North Lido Beach, a quarter mile northwest of St. Armands Circle, is the wilder end: 49 acres of sandy trails and untouched coastal habitat with parking for fewer than 20 cars. Both are far less crowded than the main Lido pavilion.
