Wellen Park’s strongest attraction story comes from how the pieces work together. Braves Spring Training, Downtown Wellen’s lakefront dining and events, 30+ miles of trails, four golf courses, and Gulf beach access in about 15 minutes. No single attraction defines it — the combination does.
CoolToday Park — More Than Braves Spring Training
The Atlanta Braves Spring Training home venue is Wellen Park’s biggest regional draw — but it earns its keep year-round. When baseball season ends, CoolToday Park hosts concerts, festivals, trivia nights, corporate gatherings, private events, and community celebrations. The Tiki Bar & Grill and team store operate on a regular schedule outside of spring training. With 6,500 fixed seats and 1,500 berm seats, plus an event lawn and multiple rentable spaces, it functions as Wellen Park’s go-to large-event venue for both public programming and private bookings.
The walkable lakefront core of Wellen Park — dining, boutiques, live events, and an 80-acre activity lake all within easy reach of surrounding neighborhoods.
Also: line dancing events, fitness programming, seasonal festivals, and holiday celebrations throughout the year.

Wellen Park is one of the few master-planned communities in Florida with multiple distinct golf options at different price points and membership structures.
One of Wellen Park’s strongest selling points: Gulf Coast beach access without coastal insurance costs. The Manasota Beach Road expansion (completing late 2026/early 2027) will cut the drive time from ~15 minutes to approximately 8–10 minutes.
